Last Moments
The sadness lingers, it's hard to break. You feel so helpless, a smile's hard to fake.
A black hole surrounds you, it pulls you in. You cry for help, but no one's listening.
Your body goes numb, your mind cracks. Your heartbeat slows, your eyes see what lacks.
The day seems dark, the night darker. The air feels thicker, your lungs start to suffer.
Your eyes see nothing, they start to sink in. Looking through darkness, is a hollow shell within.
Your body relaxes, you feel your pulse. You understand now, but at what cost.
Life passed by, faster than you thought. Don't feel sorry, for you have fought.Ā
Death has come, your time is here. Heaven awaits, you have nothing to fear.
Take your last breath, feel your lungs release. Allow your eyes to close, you are now among the deceased.
