Poem -

Last One Standing

The bitter truth
hides within
those doubtful
eyes
hiding behind
the walls you've
built so high
finding solitude
in the room of
empty promises
no one warned you.
How did you turnĀ
out like this?
Grab the pickaxe
bash at your walls
knock them down
until the last one
standing tall
is you.
