The Last Stop

The rain was beating, my heart depleting

for he who knew not I was there.

The elbows, the chills and my insolent will

made me stand there to prove that I care.

No intentions had I to board that bus and still

In dark of the night at the top of the hill

My body remained paralyzed there til dawn

I did not board that bus but My heart had gone on.
