Poem -

Last Time

Last Time

Dreams, dreams, dreams,
That is all they will ever be

I had my chance
To go and advance
To succeed and achieve
But I was left in disbelief

My life was changed
After that final buzz

I cussed and cried
It felt as if I died

All at once
I felt everything and nothing

Time no longer existed
I was no longer lifted

Masterpiece no more
I fell into pieces

I tried to pick them up
And gather my pieces

But I was hurt
And my cleats
Will no longer hit the dirt.
