laying awake with you in mine arms

as I lay awake and hold your sleeping form in mine arms,
I wonder how and where I found you. 
random, the way things are or how they seem. random when things change our lives exquisitely, designing and crafting our fate. 
now our paths have crossed and it's everyone in the past that's lost as we now have eachother forever and more.

from that first nervous glance at you with your glasses shading your eyes,
to the first muttered words talking about bouncy kids sliding down slides.
that night ended so late,
but not before dinner we ate,
the last seconds came for us to say goodbye,
at that moment you pulled me in and then kissed me goodbye....
from tht very first moment you had me hooked,
not just from the damn fine way tht it's obvious you look, 
but your amazing ways, 
your Smokey haze,
our shared lazy days and your olive skin from the hot suns rays yup that's you,
the one I want for the rest of days
