And equally embrace, the bullshit they have to face.

They won't hug you, and they'll wipe off your kisses.. .
Because they're embarrassed, 
And not fussed. 
And you're old, boring, made of dust, full of shouting, 
Fury and confusion,

It's adult logic versus kid logic, non apologetic, apoplectic...
Tidying their rooms, cooking dinner and ironing
