Lend A Hand

Lend A Hand

We may all seem so strong on the outside

But no one will ever know how fragile it is inside

We may walk with majestic strides and surf on dangers waves

but what we pray for and count on are true friends to Lend a Hand.

We may not show we are hurting and take life as a joke

But our egos, pride and struggles keep building and make us choke

We may act cool with a smiling face and walk on hot coal with such grace

but what we hope for and hang on is a saviour to Lend a Hand

For we don't know the time in time when we are so vulnerable

when we ought to be strong but we fall face down, so breakable

We wish on stars, wishing-bones,candles and prophesies for brighter days

But at one point we all grow and thrive to Lend a Hand.

So give a hand at hand and some day, it will Lend a Hand.
