      He knew that one day that he would enter Heaven
The life that he lived was one of forgiveness 
For everyone he met
     He knew just by looking you in the eye
He could see all the good in your life
Not the sin and the debt
     He knew who I would become
A man of few words but I cherished every one
His handshake was strong and true
     He knew he'd leave a lasting impression
He only left me with one question
Was it Jesus he knew
