LET ME BE MYSELF

Let me be myself I just want to be me
Please let me loose I just want to be free
Spread my wings I want to fly far away
Come back when I'm ready someday

Let me be myself I need to escape somewhere
Without having any worry or even a care
A place where my name is not heard or known
I need some time and space to be alone

Let me be myself I'm being selfish I know
Life has dealt me a difficult and unfair blow
Free as a bird that's what I really require
To get out of my mess and out of my mire
