Let our children be children😊

I have great friends on Facebook
I use this handy app on my phone
So I always have them near me
It means I never feel alone
Tho I wouldn’t wanna be without 
My phones like my right arm
But I know some people don’t like it
They say Facebook causes harm

Well theres good & bad throughout our life
In everything we say or do
We have to be so vigilant
Theres always someone watching you
We need to be more media aware 
Be very careful which friends we  add
Tho still there will be scammers 
& hackers that are bad

Social media is marvellous
But it is so easy to be abused
There are many horror stories
From innocent victims whos been used
Children love instagram & lots of other media sites
They have to be aged thirteen
To be part of facebook tho by rights

We should always watch our kids
Especially what they’re doing on their phone
I know its very difficult
We aren’t with them when their alone
But parential control is important
Restricting kids from adult stuff
In this world we live in nowadays poor kids they see enough

Theres too much adult only stuff shown on the tv
I switch it on & can’t believe the things that I do see
It doesn’t  make a difference wether its nightime or through the day
Sex & violence is rife even on the games that children play
Often when I compare my childhood
To the childhood of today
There is really no comparison
In any kind of way
I know I’m touching sixty 
Technology is moving fast
Yet life was much more safer & children friendly in the past

Moral of this long winded ditty is very plain to read
Let our children remain as children
They become adults all too soon indeed!!!
