I am strolling the silky sands on a September,sunny day
Wishing I could turn the tides of time from weeks in the early month of May
Back to the time when I was here walking alone with you
Laughin’ & joking at all the crazy things you’d do
But now those days have gone
& you have left me on my own
Without a word of explanation
You never answer me on your phone

Did I do something wrong?
Was it anything that I said?
If only I could free these thoughts & images spinning in my head
Alas, I am a troubled soul
Will I ever see you again?
Tho I haunt our favourite paths & places 
I search your face from
crowds in vain

You have dissapeared like the shadows of the darkness in the night
Why can’t everything be as it  was to make my heart alive & bright
How I miss our moments spent together listening to the radio
We would sing along to our songs & take it everywhere we did go
You held the microphone in your hand as you ran ahead in dance
Oh baby please come back to me

So I’ve made up this little letter
You know it comes straight from my heart
Saying exactly how I miss you
I guess I loved you from the start
My biggest problem with my words for you,
I haven’t your address
I’ve no idea where you have gone to
There’s not a chance that I could guess

So I’ll hangon to the letter hoping someone helps me out
They may tell me where your living
If I explain what this is about
Then I will post it in the mailbox
Sealing it with a kiss for you
Waiting eagerly for your answer
Telling me you miss me too
