Come on workers we will strike today
It's time we all had better pay
So the workers were going to stop work on Thursday morning 
The bosses did not receive any advance notice or warning

Conditions in the factory were getting worse
The hours were becoming longer like a hospital nurse
Production in the factory had now come to a stop
The share price of the factory was starting to drop

The bosses and the unions met on Friday afternoon 
An agreement would have to be reached very soon
Five hours later a decision was reached I'm happy to say
The workers would get better conditions and extra pay
