Let's Play Catch
Throttled
like a rag doll under brutal force;
suffering brutality, cringing,
bearing every blow with grace and gritted teeth.Ā
Thrashed
and bashed in wild volleys
and giving in with limp surrender.Ā
Tossed and beaten;
like a prisoner thrown between roman guards,Ā
or like a childĀ
tossed
between bullies.
