Let's Play Catch

Let's Play Catch

Throttled
like a rag doll under brutal force;
suffering brutality, cringing,
bearing every blow with grace and gritted teeth.

Thrashed
and bashed in wild volleys
and giving in with limp surrender.

Tossed and beaten;
like a prisoner thrown between roman guards,

or like a child
tossed
between bullies.

Good write Victoria. This subject is, sad to say, so prevalent today and it is hitting closer and closer to home. It is so scary to see the innocent in so much danger, and so very little we can do to protect them. Very powerful stuff my friend. Keep em coming.

Blessings
