Letter to an artist

Letter to an artist

Isn't this art you've displayed beautiful? I unfortunately write poetry which is the poor cousin of art. It is an affliction because words cannot show a picture like a picture shows a picture, words are mean and dirty, childish compared to the artists brush. Oh they can be beautiful too, I hear you. Then there is song, which is the rich cousin of poetry, if only I could be a song, instead only a poet in a poor part of town under a bridge writing words on a wall

So it is dear artist, you are rich with song, you can play for hours on end and that'll be enough for me.

hello friend jai

hope you are well!

words can pin point any emotion, describe any situation, and thoroughly define any of our senses! I feel the written art takes a special ability that you portray exceptionally well!

thanks again

Couldn't of said it better myself.

Maybe we're the underdogs at times, but we can be a lion with the right words!

Well done Jai.
