Letting Go

And tongues let go their groanings of the spirit

Whispers falling like diamonds from prayerful lips

In the eternal twilight of rotation's horizons clouds let go of their dew

To kiss the heat let go by the great star, flowers must let go of their clenched petals

To accomodate the winter frost trees must let go of their ironed leaves

Mountains too let go of streams crystaline cool and fiery hot

And I too let go of these tears

They fall like pearls into the cornucopia of the angels

Seeds of grief bursting with hope

That our love will not have been in vain
