Letting Go

Letting Go

Letting go is so hard to do,
when the mind does bind all that you say.
And tempers the heart's desire to fly.
As you sit here waiting for rhymes to stop by.

Stop thinking...

Feel more...

Let it burst forth, like a fire hose on its own.
Like a door unhinged.
Like a car dovetailed across the ice.
Like life on a hot, summer Saturday night.

Let go and believe that the unconscious can write.
That the mind can unwind without but one thought.
Void of careful calculation...

of logical deliberation...

No more muffling the soul...
No more clinging to the edge...

Jump, and if per chance you should fall,
jump again.

Hello John, I loved this one. To me it talks about trusting your instinct and going with the flow. Not over thinking things. That it's okay to fall over and try again
a fine write

Being Me

A fabulous poem! The subconscious is able to speak clearly and eloquently once we learn how to listen. And learning to listen to the subconscious ALWAYS requires a huge leap of faith. Heres to the words that lay hiding between the lines 🍻 x
