Poem -

Lies

I don't care for this disguise,

Let me see the truth in your eyes,

Eyes of blue, so sweet and pure,

But I am not fooled my dear,

I see the despair.

The despair of your wrong doings,

Sins that are intangible,

But oh so real,

As real as the lie, that you persist to eleviate,

A lie that now controls your whole mind state,

Go on,

Go ahead,

Continue your lie, thread by thread,

Weaving through the despair of your unrighteous head.
