LIES ON VALENTINES

LIES ON VALENTINES

Many will be fooled today
By the gifts and words
That some may say

Roses, candies, bracelets and chains
Trinkets given to massage the brain

Hoping that you forget yesterday's brawl
Trying to hold your hand today
While walking through the malls

Don't be fooled
By their sudden sweetness
Because tomorrow
They will return to their familiar mess

Can't say I did not warned you
About that fake love
That vanishes like smoke
Up above

Remember a leopard
Cannot change his spots
So don't be deceived
And don't be caught up.
