Right from the very start

You are given the tools to be smart

Yet at a young age you have no idea what lies ahead

If you knew this you would prepare yourself in your head 

Being shown love and support from everyone that is close to you along the way

Helps you on the most darkest day

But for every dark cloud there is the brightest of suns beaming down on you 

So make the most of them cause they will guide you through

Remember to laugh a lot and not hold your feelings back

And enjoy the good times and don’t always worry about the things you lack

Cherish the fun that is had through your children’s eyes

And realise that this is the prize

Don’t be so hard on yourself and try and compare 

And appreciate everything around you and share 

You only live this once so give it your all 

Even if some times you look like a fool

When times are tough stand up and fight

And don’t give up because eventually you will see the light

Give and show those closest to you all the love you can give

And don’t waste a moment and live

Appreciate that not everyone is the same as you

They have different thoughts and feelings that to you are new

Be yourself and don’t change 

Even if to others you seem strange

Cause you are special in your own way 

And you will learn things everyday

It can be a rollercoaster ride

Ups and downs and side to side

But that is what shapes you and makes who you are

So enjoy the time you have and you will go  far
