A Life Without Love

 A Life Without Love

Emotions are their taboo

A lifeless life, a cold simmer of hate for every breath they take

If you could see their life, you would become blind

If you could feel their life, you would become congenital insensitive

If you could hear their life, you would become deaf

Not their parents, nor friends, nor significant others will understand or know

They cut, they hit, they drown, for they have lost the will to fight

Their minds twist creating minor insomnia, making them suffer longer each day

Sleep is an escape, if only they could dream peacefully

They cry, for they wish for the thing they can't achieve alone

Every second on Earth is their torture of pain, of constant torment of a lifeless life alone

Their hearts have stopped, dried up, rotted, and yet they continue to walk this Earth alone

They all want to escape, for Hell would be a happier place, a better life

Yesterday they were alive and happy to all, today they are no longer living and truly at peace

Somewhere inside they could not find what we all take for granted

Everyday someone feels as if their life would be better if they never existed, someone is being bullied, being abused or mistreated, others never were able to grow connections with anyone, even family. Kids and young adults everywhere are suffering every second of the day. I have saved many from ending their lives by just showing I cared about them, and I am the "jock" type. So no matter what "click" you are in, take a minute to help out someone who seems like they need help. No matter how much they push away, always be there for them, and always remind them. You never know, you could have saved a life yesterday for deciding to make one move. Change someone's life today.

A very powerful write! I love what you wrote at the very end because it is so true. After losing a family member to suicide this poem really hit me.
