" LIFE'S ORATORY " (my 900th poem on Cosmo)
Life sometimes displays, the "not having lived"
And acknowledges that power sleeps, in moments of reflection
It blossoms and blushes in times of change
Wrapped in evolutions energetic state
It rains down upon me, sometimes it comes in waves
And epiphany's injections,
Of sunny warmth upon my face, and healing waters
From places I've only dreamt of
It seems to harbor powerful moments, crafted for me alone
Always its warm embrace, affords me tastes of Love
It brings me to my knees and then, gives me time to pray there
As though it were expecting me, pointing to me
Commanding me to ponder
Its enigmatic portraits and shades of color,
It begs us all to differ, then begs us to forgive
What is this spell we're under?
I wonder through each turning page, just how long
This book really is,
Perhaps I should skip around a bit, just so I can taste of it
In as many different ways
As God has provided for all of us to be engaged in,
So many things to contemplate,
These are the days I wait for you, I drink in
My memories and epiphany's, and put on my bravest face
For it is in the lining of your imaginings, that first dared
To create this place
I pray someday I'll meet you, and have the courage
To tell you, just how much
I've enjoyed

T, this is quality man....why does the word `polished`always seem to come to mind with your work (my question mark isn`t working, apologies) you`re like a craftsman making beautiful furniture with Mahogany, every angle precise, every detail just so....I suppose the best thing the reader can say to a poet is I remember this poem or that poem....I can visual the poem you wrote about the mysterious house....the street magicians....taking a walk in Chicago, and others....T, congratulations on writing 900 poems on here, funny (not as in ha ha) that you have written so many and the quality is so consistently high, testament to pure talent....yes, polished works well for this one....peace and love...enjoyed
