Lifes' Reality and Love
My life is rhythmically poetic,
Some days are boring and static,
I forget what treasures in life I have,
Overcome with emotions I selfishly behave,
Other days are full of activity and ecstasy,
Sometimes I need to express anger and anxiety,
Ignoring all the beauty and my love for nature,
My friends and family about that really care,
Flowing through happiness and out of sadness,
Sometimes a mental block, I cannot express,
Sunshine, rain and wind all climates as one,
Sometimes I feel that it’s all over and done,
But the moments with my daughter and love,
Pushes all aside and ensures my head stays above,
The future, life, love, moments made, and sadness,
Hard path to travel but with her and all I am blessed.

Hi Cherie
Sorry I have been pretty ill of late - I managed to squeeze 2Â so-called poems out in the last week, and haven't really been well enough to comment on anybody's poetry. (Apologies to all in my family of poets on this site).
But thank you for reading and commenting, much appreciated. - My head is always high, its writing about it and reading everybody's very positive comments here that keep on reminding me that life is actually pretty cool its how we react to situations and the path that we are given or we have chosen. - Much appreciation for your optimism.
Keep on being special!
Mark PaulÂ
Hi Mark,
All of us sometimes behave selfishly, for that is our nature. It is the ones who don't partake of it often, that are the givers. And the others, as the old song went, "you give love a bad name". Very well written.
Peace and Love,
xox Larry
