Light

Everyone runs to the light
To feel like someone’s at their side
It just looks so shiny and bright
But it gives away where the 
demons hide

Then the lights mask begins to break
And all you can do is stare
As you realize the light was fake
And you feel completely bare

You were sucked into the lights trap
There’s no escape it’s already to late 
As you feel your hopes snap
And you accept your fate

No one ever comes to save the day
Because if they did they might also stray away
