Poem -
Into The Light
I must break the chains that bind
A path to my salvation I must find
I've let everything get on top of me
But now it's finally time to be free
To escape the troubles of my past
Finding a settlement which will last
Then I'll make the most of my days
Memories that haunt me I will erase
Being the person I've known I can be
Conquering all that causes me misery
Leaving this prison I've called home
Striking a victory for those suffering alone
Walking out of the darkness into the light
Where all my dreams will come into sight.
