The Light And The Darkness

What we know and what you perceive,
Is that of a god who came to be.
Who created the heavens, the earth, the night, and day.
Creations continued til the seventh day.
There's those who believe and in god they trust,
But some pray to the land that they live off of,
And to the animals, nature, and night and day.
If there was light in the beginning so was there dark.
Is it possible there constant clashing caused enough spark,
Setting off an explosion in which manners of all life and death would begin.
Each side wants something different in this prize vying for a win.
Darkness wants it to be back to the old way,
While light likes life to flourish and continue on through night and day.
So the black empty nothing forges an army of darkness,
Sends them with commands towards the world it marches.
Mindless and heartless obeying that everything must perish leave nothing to stay.
So it shall be but night and day.
Light enraged gathers the guardians instructing to protect.
Life will go on and the darkness will accept,
And time told all as the wars drew closer to the peak.
Decades had past as fast as we speak.
Death grew in total amongst the sides,
Mutiny crept in too turning it's spies.
As certain light fell into a dark way,
And a part of dark comes to light in the continuance of night and day.
For even now the light and the darkness don't intend,
To give in to this madness that never ends.
Stale mate in their spite and hate,
While opposing variables lie in cancerous wait.
Thus an unfortunate quarrel can still display,
To those fortunately thriving through night and day.
