LIGHTHOUSE

LIGHTHOUSE

Blood running through my veins
My heart skips a beat
As we part our ways
Feeling weak in my knees
Losing myself in the midst
of all this
Finding no way out
Because you are my
Lighthouse
In the middle of my
Sea keeping my waves
At ease

During our deepest, darkest hours it's always good to have that safety net—a beaming beacon, shining through the doom & gloom to light our way safely through the velvety, inky blackness—to the safe, sandy shores of home.
Nicely penned, Esmeralda.
