like a clock

Pointing to every direction but always staying in place. Like a child not knowing what something is that needs to be explained. We move towards the next thing and expand our world with each hand we hold out to the next. Like a clock.

Hi Trevor, I liked how you used the clock as a metaphor for growth. I remember studying child development and it is said that babies can only see so far, like a little bubble that gradually expands. Making their world more intense to be in but also allowing them to gradually develop without being overwhelmed. I could go on but it would be quite the waffle. Your little powerful poem got me thinking. Many thanksĀ
