Like A Ghost Rarely Ever Seen

• Before my wife

I had no life,
not a soul did
want to know me
I could walk this
life like a ghost
rarely ever Seen
A shadow cast 
Only by sunlight
that fades upon 
darkening skies
That can only live again with the return of the
sun
But first to face
the coming winter
without my love beside me 
I know the sun will
​​​​​return, but sadly
not my wife
And then I know what being alone truly means
for now I hibernate
to sit and wait the 
return of
summer.
