Like a phoenix from the ashes

We rose up out the ruins
Like a phoenix from the ashes
With titanic intentions
And an insatiable habit
To create a better life
And to construct a better time
Using our new conscious and purified mind
That was riven in the ruins
But then cleansed in the fire
Of what we learnt was out funeral pyre
And as we learnt the meaning of impermanence
We also began to understand
That as beings of energy we will eternally command
A place with in the universe
In a certain conscious state
We learn to cherish how important it is to love
And not to hate
So if you find yourself in ruins
Stay strong and hold on tight
For like a phoenix rising from the ashes
Its not the end of your plight.
