In the endΒ we buried them
Somewhere in a garden
The rose heads
They were dying anyway, severed
from sustenance
Struggling to maintain their beauty
Gasping for air... and air,
IsΒ not always kind
To beauty
In the end, we gave them back
To the earth, under the earth
To the life force that grew them,Β
ached for them
To return
The earth would be kind to them,
drawing them back
To mother's bosom
Integrating their perfume
Reseeding them to go forth
Nothing lost, nothing wasted
Nothing ever is
Just changed
Just beauty transformed
To so very much more

Beautiful, Marion, the spiral dance of nature. Everything is recycled. All life is reincarnated. Lovely imagery.
Thankyou so much for taking the time x
Earnest and so profound Marion and a beautiful write to read.
From decay arises beauty the ongoing cycle of life and it's polar opposite.
Things change, they evolve and oft for the better.
A soulful, fervent poem and wonderfully good to read, then reread.
Wishing you well my friend and thank you for sharing. x.
And thank you for reading my friend...appreciated always...hugs x
