Lilac trees 💕

I ambled along an avenue lined with lovely lilac trees
And Oh such a sensational sweet, surreal scent filled me with appease
As a light wind wafted this aroma from the Summer breeze
I felt at one with good old Mother nature and was buzzing like the honey bees..
As purple as the heathered heathlands the lilac blossoms bloomed
They hung like weeping willow trees that was richly plumed
Whilst I was captivated by the colourfulness my nose was perfumed
And as I sat on an old oak stump well I was all too consumed..
Coz the mulberry, mauve, magenta was candy to my eyes
Such an amaranthine of amethyst was a sheer surprise
A canopy of foliage glistened from the sunrise
Shining slivers of sunlight betwixt the heavenly skies…
