our terrible fall told to us dear men

that knowledge given from beyond our relm

the coils wrapped around her for knowledge to pass

to lay the grounds for our liberty

yet they still hold on to that sword of truth

to our mother they will walk in shame

though she walks among us with no fame

she is still the light and the rising star
