Limbo

A longing for the given
a tear for the taken
this is the limbo of my mind
where all lost things are.

My feelings for you
my happiness towards life
my whole heart
so easily torn apart.

You asked if it hurt
if my heart had broke
but my only response was; 

"It was broken from the start"
