Linking The Chain
A fabled hero,
Secretly followed by young man.
What he doesn't know,
Against pure evil soon he will stand.
Watching mesmerized in admiration,
The awe and shock his hero takes a blow of decimation.
A warrior that stood tall fated to fall,
Picking up the sword answering the call.
Dying words of a knight exchanged fast,
An ancient talisman to pass,
Making him the champion of new,
With a heart and mind that shines good and true.
He slayed dragons
And conquered beasts,
The malevolence encountered couldn't imagine,
Vanquished evil from west to east.
Rode on a squalling wave that lured them to a cave,
Our brave victor with an inexperienced apprentice that he had saved.
Into the mouth of the cave darkness swallowed,
The forewarning voices they cautiously followed.
Face to face with the demons,
One sword of light to bring down the legion,
When the hero's talisman starts to glow,
And he meets his fate with a mortal blow.
His body bound to be caught by the ground,
Feel of a presence kneeling down.
His death gaze met by righteous eyes,
The link is made as he noblely dies.
