Poem -

Lips of a Dragon

There is death on my lips,Ā

a film of suffering caked onto my skin.

Dried up and shriveled,

my lips beg for yours.

Regret and pain drip dryly from my mouth in tendrils.

Flowing and ballet dancing from my lungs,Ā

the smoke blows out.Ā

The fire you put inside me is dying out.Ā

All that is left is the smoke of a smothered flame.

i am a dragon with dry lips.

there is smoke in my lungs andĀ

i keeep coughing it up.

i am a dragon drowning in the flames.Ā
