This sensational sound of yours, one just cannot beat

As I listen to my feathered friends twittering on repeat

There you all are way up high, hiding in those trees

Shading from yon sizzling sun and blowing in that blustery breeze

Do you realise how blessed you are, with that scenic view of appease?

I envy your freedom as you fly about with so much effortless ease

Squibble squabbling little dickie birds on the garden path

Fighting for the right to bathe in my bird bath
