Little Girl Inside

Little Girl Inside

A little girl inside,
Around age 10,
Was stuck in time,
Alone within.

She cried in fear,
Wanting saved,
But no one came,
So she remained.

Wounds by people,
Ones who bruised,
That held her down,
The words they used.

A call she made,
To God above,
And then He came,
The act of love.

Now finally free,
She walked away,
Just her and God,
Who took her pain.
