Little Heart

I am a child, playing all the day with all,
getting tired and slumbering all the night!

A little heart I've, 
working day and night alike
with no rest in between -
Oh God, if it ever felt
to take a nap while I'm asleep?
No more lines further ....., but
it never asked any pay or hike,
always attentive, efficient,
caressing and forgiving!

You've been taking care of me
all these days and nights alike
as best as you could;
It's now my turn 
to take care of you as well:
together we shall go a long way;
let's live in harmony always - 
if you aren't there I'm not there; 
if I'm not there you're not there!
