This is for the Little Ones

Little Ones

Hold the key to Truth.

They know more than us,

They are honest -

And True

Our mistakes -

Oh - they learn too!

For the family,

They are a strong glue.

They have the opportunities to make the right choices it seems like it took us forever to reach -

With less mistakes in between.

For a family, as to a shirt, they are the seam.

If only we let our urges last a little longer,

Maybe we would have had a heart stronger.

But when we see those angelic faces

I don't have a bond any fonder

I realize the reason, for all of the mistakes I've made

The little ones will have this knowledge in their brains saved.

And with that I keep in my heart

Of all the times I wish I could fall apart

The times I did

As a woman now and as a kid.

Learn from us little ones so we can be proud of us and that you DID.

We want you to have a better everything.

I know my parents sacrificed for us.

I will do that for you;

I'm not sure exactly what I will have to give up or take on but I am ready for the task my God. 

Please bless me my Lord.
