LITTLE THINGS MEAN SUCH A LOT

Little things mean such a lot
When you are in such a difficult spot
A simple hello to your neighbour next door
Will brighten up their day I know for sure

Little things mean such a lot
Like putting a pound in a blind man's pot
He can therefore have a cup of tea today
For him that means everything is okay

Little things mean such a lot
It's better to be thankful than to be not
Eyes to see and ears to hear
Spread the love around every day of the year

Hi Kieran

Your poem is very uplifting, and yes, it is the little things we do that brighten the lives of all, and also those that are less fortunate than ourselves. It's amazing how many selfish people look the other way, as they pass the homeless. Why could they not put in a few coins to make these people's lives a bit more bearable!

Keep on writing Kieran and spread the word!
