Poem -

Little Yellow Flowers

I saw little yellow flowers

pushed through the ground

climbed from the dark

inhaling the atmosphere

breathing into my lung

and they couldn’t breath

if not for me

I’m afraid I’m a dandelion

a little yellow flower

climbing through the dark

to shine while I’m grounded

only to blow away in time

I’m afraid you’re a dandelion

breathing into my lungs

Could you breath if not for me?

You’re shining, but you’re grounded

Please, ask the wind not to gust

Please, don’t blow away too soon
