LONDON LIFE

Trolleys of luggage being pulled along the ground
Things in ears means no-one can hear a sound
These are just some of the people in London town
Going about their business on stations and the underground

Too busy to chat or chatting too fast
It's a constant rat race they mustn't finish last
London folk are without doubt a funny bunch
No time for breakfast and a sandwich for lunch

So as I sit waiting for my train to depart
London life will always be close to my heart
