LONE DEWDROP

I exist in pretty rainbows
I cruise on softest breeze
Which speaks and sings my yearning
To the rocking arms of trees
I arise each day
At sunlights break
I sparke in the stream
You might find me in
Lone dewdrop
Tis the tear of me
The scream
I run with all the children
Just an echo
In their wake
We skip and play
We laugh and roam
I shadow them back home
Seek solice
In their mothers arms
Hoping this time
One is mine
But I cannot find my childhood home
Tis lost to the mists of time
I slip away on moonbeams
Like the vapour of your breath
I never stay to break the veil
To frighten
Or upset
But my soul aches from the inside out
I seek all that cannot be
For it vanished
On that long gone day
When i never returned
for tea
It vanished with the bones of me
The day my breath was stole
It vanished to the secrets deep
Buried lost beneath your feet.
