I remember how much she loved me, every place, everywhere, we ever were
The park bench where she spilled the specialty of the house, from Luigi's
But it's so much more, all things I long to know, need to prefer
My heart hankers to know her secrets, to hear her latest news
To be seen with her in public, to enjoy all manner of experiences
Somehow, I wind up here each day just staring at the bench where
I left all of my Love with you, to displace, misplace, compare
And yet I have no regret, I seem unaware of the passing of time
In my soul you're the center of everything, the light inside my mind
How do I tell a runaway friend whom I know will forever run
That all I want is one moment on the bench where our love had begun
To change into true love of friendship, and that our friendship was true
No, we were not lovers, way to wise for that, somehow we always knew
That we'd wind up in this Lonely place, all alone but never we two
Would we ever give up our friendship
Hell, no way
not you....

Such a beautiful piece T` It portrays so well that platonic love is true and long lasting and that soul mates are very real. You have a wise and perfectly logical understanding of the human spirit as we are all spirits having a human experience in order to develop the world we live in, because that is doing Gods work and that in turn is why love is so important for our progression through this life.
This was a really beautiful and heart warming explanation of how true and comforting real love is and how resilient it is throughout time and distance.
We personally are true soul mates aren`t we and we both new it instantly that we love each other and that we know it will last till the end of our days, and we also know that happilly we will still be together on the other side. I know for definate that we have been friends in many many lives. This is well written sweety and an enjoyable read. Well done. I love you honey, G xx
