Lonely Soul

They're talking with each other
Everyone goes hand in hand
Around the town
But they kicked me out of it
Why can't they see
I'm as beautiful as me?
Everyone goes hand in hand
Around the state
But they kick me out to the other side
How do they see
That they truly don't like me
Maybe it's true
The people my age hate
Am I the only one who does not?
Maybe that's why they don't like me
I'm too nice
In this mean, cruel world
Why can't there be anyone in the school for me
The great ones all out there
Why can't they be with me here
I'm just one lonely soul
Being kicked around in my cell
Everyone goes hand in hand
Around the country
But they sent me overseas
Why can't they see
I'm not perfect as just me
We're only perfect if we're all hand in hand
Everyone goes hand in hand
Around the world
But they sent me down to the dungeon
To whack me to my knees

Thank you a beutiful heartfelt poem
i have felt the lonelyness and still do i live alone in Belfast im 27
The lonelyness is my enemy and my friend
friend to my imagination eg for poem and song writing
and enemy to my parnoia and fear
i think every human needs loneleyness to be an individual and think for himself or herself
Again Thank you the feeling is certainley mutual:)
Godbless
Your welcome. And it's the same with me. Except, I'm younger than 27. Are you being bullied? I posted a video on my profile....I think you should see it. Around 7 minutes, but it's really heartfelt.
Greetings Kayla,
First and foremost,'] thank you for spot lighting this dreadful occurrence, that has been for ages afflicting the many in need of it being show cased and eradicated from existence...We can only remove it if everyone,(such as you did), speak out against and bring to light, its origins. To see those that has suffered from this practice and are able to speak out against it, places those, that want to see it erased from the face of the earth, allows us one step or voice closer to our goal of stamping out its goal, (which is to fester), that of a incurable sore in the lives of all, whom falls to it its prey, due to the abuse by another and in some cases, many others. And it's not a crime to be nice; in fact you being you, have more to live and look forward to, then those that strive to cling to, the many miserable aspects and miserable people in life,(misery), just as history has proven, tends to gravitate to the miserable. You in our book, are a winner and winners or those that do and did always have the fortitude to continue to push against all oppositions in life and cross that finishing line. Leaving behind,in its wake, all the losers, that you had to be subjected to then, but can view now, in your rear view mirror of life, only if you want to, knowing now, that you have the choice not to...And your spoken video, will be my next stop on this site full of winners, that feels for you, the same as I and (Liam).....Liam good to see and hear you speak out on this matter, one more individual to placed in that pot of concerned human beings, that we are reaching out to for support of this practice, as well as, abuse against women...Very appealing and revealing poem to us all....
In your corner,
Jim
hey, believe it or not there are a lot more people who feel like you than you probably think.
It is a very simple and to the point poem. I like it.
Thank you. And I do understand. I know A LOT of people have this. But, I'm just writing a poem from my point of view. I don't know what kind of poem runs through their heads because "You're beautiful as you" and unique
nice read enjoyed x
