LONELY SUN
The sun rose once more
In great beauty
Then set itself lowĀ
In great peace
With only the shadowsĀ
To witness
And the odd knowing gaze
Of the sheep
For allĀ life
Lay stone cold
Down below
In deaths sleep
Lonely sun.
