“Look at me Mammy, aren’t I getting tall?”

Mother marks Maisies height on her bedroom wall, there are ten or more other lines since she was small..”Look at me Mammy, aren’t I getting tall?” as she proudly points up to the highest pencil scrawl..
“Yes my little one isn’t so little anymore” as Maisie stands on her tippy toes against the height chart on the floor.. She is only three years old and boy is she so cute, with her round, dimpled, chubby bum in her birthday suit..But bless her little cotton socks she is growing so fast, the last time her Mother marked a line was three months ago and she has shot past..

This is lovely, Jill. Kids grow up so fast. Too fast, in fact. One minute you are cradling them in your arms fighting the effects of sleepless nights. But all too soon they are walking and before you know it they are off to school. And the school years whiz by in a flurry of school runs and new friendships and different teachers. Before you know it they are out working and telling you how best to do things...lol.
Such a lovely write. 5 stars and pinned x
Awww so chuffed you enjoyed my little early mornin’ ditty ❤️?❤️ I have 3 older daughters and 2 of them are married with 3 daughters between them so I just adore little girls lol ???
Awww...I have 4 older "children" 2 boys a girl and another boy. I always say it that way because if I say 3 boys and a girl everyone assumes she is the youngest and say things like...oh, you got a girl eventually, then.
My eldest son and his wife have just had a baby girl ...well, 4 months ago, so I have a little grandaughter. Children, grandchildren, they are all so precious aren't they?
Awww yes they keep us young haha our little blessings luv ???
