Look For My Angels

Look For My Angels

Inspired by Leah Cabael Yodico’s beautiful poem “The Window”

Now “The Windows Of The World” rerise
Toppled by Satanic Surprise
“A sea of corpses” fell that day
Three thousand plus, with their lives did they pay

But the Master said “They died not in vain”
“For I’ve cleansed all their souls with my sacred rain”
“I’ve brought them back home, to My Paradise”
“To witness all of my swift reprise”

“I sent Legions after Devils, to ferret them all out”
“And make their deaths a first priority, so soon to come about”
“Then the sick and monstrous mastermind, of this purely evil deed”
“Was thrown to hungry sharks, into the ocean, on him to ever feed”

“Then I selected some Cherubs, and sent them right down”
“To help rebuild the new Tower, so high above ground”
“When you look out the windows, now you will see”
“My Angels from Heaven, in protection of Thee”

My Dear Sweet Rose,

I think other poets inspire us all to write.  I think other poets find the drawbridge to our hearts.  I think that other poets forever bond with our souls.  I know, that in you, I have found one of them.

Love you,
Daddio xxx

Hey Brother poet LARRY!!
I agree, wholeheartedly, with her "ROSE-NESS!"...... it IS overly impressive how often you find inspiration for these gorgeous poems from your colleagues on COSMO!!.....I know I don't get to read everything here but it seems you've written one everyday for the past week (or close?).....but what it says to me....,what I admire about it..... is how much it promotes the idea of friendship and comfortable availability among the membership on this site!..... perpetuating the idea of family!!..... It's such an unselfish act on your part...... writing those poems is THE MOST generous thing I've ever seen in these past 3 + years!!!...... You my friend.... are..."A STELLAR INDIVIDUAL!".......LOVE IT!!...... stay groovy dude!!...,,,, LOVE and ROCKETS!!......T xo ?✳✴☀♥

My Dear Brother Poet Tony,

What do I say to the man who has inspired me, since that very first glorious comment you sent.  The inspiration that I find on Cosmo, I attribute to you, for leading me to it's beautiful pastures.  I can't imagine where I would be now, had it not been for that shining beacon, lighting my path and filling me with the confidence to push on.  I have read other comments you send to struggling new artists, inspiring them, with the beautiful praise you lavish.  As you tell me, these poetic responses I write are "THE MOST generous thing you've ever seen in these past 3+ years", I can honestly say to you that in the last 2+ years I've been on Cosmo, I have never come into contact with a more beautiful man.

Peace, Love and Rockets,
Larry xxx

Hi Tony,

PS, PS, PS, PS, PS,
We just discovered through a private message from "HER-ROSENESS", that the second quatrain of this poem was printed twice, omitting Larry's third one.  We have just gone in and corrected it, and without having to send another comment, because no more beautiful words could you ever express, Larry would just like you to read it in the way he so intended.

Peace, Love and Rockets,
Larry xxx

My Dear Leah,

As do many people on Cosmo touch "my heart", you surely being one of them.  You are so right, that one finds a plethora of poetic soulmates on this site, and even though many times separated by thousands of miles, we feel the closeness of each others souls.  You have honored me too, with these beautiful words.

Hugs, Peace and Love,
Larry xxx

Hi Larry, its so lovely that not only do you allow yourself to be inspired, but you show other people the product of your inspiration. This is so important in cultivating a culture of recognition and acceptance. This poem tugs on your heartstrings and although I thought of everything bad in the world whilst reading it, it reminded me of all the good; and good shall always conquer! Haha. You are very talented.

Hi Sweet Samantha,

The longer that you are on Cosmo, you will find that you too will be inspired by another poets great work.  When this happens, we always give credit to the artist for their inspiration.  I am so happy to have found you, because with hundreds and hundreds of new poets coming on, it is impossible to check them all out.  I thank you for your lovely words, and look forward to many years of poetic companionship.

Hugs, Peace and Love,
