Look in the mirror

Look in the mirror

I wait on the Lord in anticipation, seeking

his liberation from my imperfections.

When I look in the mirror, my flawsΒ

Stare back at me.

I am only human with a desperatelyΒ

Sick heart.

I hurt within when I sin against him.

In anguish and agony, I need releaseΒ

from all setbacks.

On bended knees, I ask for freedom

from all iniquities.

My faults and failures are always

before him.

I have made countless mistakes,

fallen and picked up again by the

might hands of God.

I do not claim to be prefect, if I

Protest I am without sin, I make

God a liar and Jesus died for

nothing.
