Looking Glass

Through a looking glass you see the pain scars and tears.
Through a looking glass you see the bottled up fears.
Take away the looking glass and look with your whole heart.
There he is in front of you falling apart.
His eyes appear soulless, and his heart may be stone, but look a little closer and you realize he's alone.
Battling demons only he can see.
What I would give just to set him free.
No one should be dealing with the amount of pain there in his eyes.
If only he knew I could see through his disguise.
Through a looking glass you see the pain, scars and tears.
Take away the looking glass and chase away his fears.
